Music

I tend to have very odd tastes in music. I like virtually nothing mainstream from the last few decades. I tend to listen mainly to classic rock, alternate stuff, and instrumental themes from movies.
  • Classic:
    • The Eagles, both 70s and 2008 music

    • Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath, Iron Man, War Pigs

    • King Crimson: In the Court of the Crimson King, 21st Century Schizoid Man, Epitaph

    • Police: Message in a Bottle

    • Beatles: I am the Walrus, Penny Lane

    • Blood, Sweat, and Tears: Spinning Wheel

    • Charlie Daniels Band: The Devil Went down to Georgia

    • Chicago: 25 or 6 to 4

    • Johnny Rivers: Secret Agent Man

    • Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, We Will Rock You, We are the Champions

    • The Who: Who are you, Baba O'Reilly

  • Soundtracks:
    • War Movies: The Dambusters, 633 Squadron

    • Bond: Dr. No, Casino Royale, Live and Let Die

    • Raiders March

    • The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

    • Several songs from Anything Goes

    • Oh Fortuna from Carmina Burana

    • 2001 Theme performed by the Canadian Brass

    • Last of the Mohicans: Main Title, Fort Battle, Promentory, Massacre / Canoes

    • War of the Worlds: Eve of War

    • Das Boot

    • Wicked: Defying Gravity (good power-trip song)

    • Kill Bill: Battle without Honor or Humanity (fight theme), Green Hornet

  • Alternative:
    • Punk:
      • English: Bloc Party: Hunting for Witches

      • Newfie: Great Big Sea: The Chemical Worker's Song

      • Irish/Boston: Dropkick Murphies

    • Spanish:
      • Juanes: Suenos, La Camisa Negra, Damelo

      • Son Parranda: El Ano Viejo

      • Pedro Suarez-Vertiz: Cuando Pienses en Volver

    • Random:
      • Five Iron Frenzy: Oh Canada

      • Moxy Fruvous: King of Spain

      • Of Montreal: Wraith Pinned to the Mist (used for Outback commercials)

      • Vengaboys: We Like to Party!

      • They Might Be Giants: Istanbul (Not Constantinople)

      • Veggietales: Modern Major General

      • Alarm: Blaze of Glory

      • Gustav Holst: The Planets

      • Cake: Short Skirt / Long Jacket

      • Dispatch: The General

      • OSU Marching Band: Hang on Sloopy

      • Relient K: Gibberish

      • Seal: Kiss from a Rose

      • Survivor: Eye of the Tiger

      • Hawaii 5-0 theme

And a few other oddities.

trust me, everyone else who reads this, i've tried to introduce stuff to him that people actually know and it always end in failure. he's convinced that listening to david cook will make his ears bleed (WHICH IT WILL NOT!)

I never said that. I merely don't intend to listen to music that I find appallingly awful.

And you have no right to criticize me till YOU try some of this stuff.

he is not awful.

and you can't pick on me for not listening to your stuff if you won't listen to mine.

So can we just agree to disagree? You like mainstream stuff, I don't. I like rather random music, you don't. Okay? ok.
